Can Damsel be short-sighted ?

Hi Buddies !

I have been keeping a damsel (Blue-Green Chromis) for about 3 years, she has been very smart and is able to clear any food in a second.

However, I found that there is something wrong with her eye sight recently, she could hardly focus on the food which is just a bit farther from away from her, she could only occasonally eat the fake food which is floating right in front of her mouth.

Has your damsel encountered the same problem ? Is she getting too old ? Or has she got some eye diseases ?
I am afraid that she is gonna die without having sufficient food.

By the way, do you know how long is the usual life span of this kind of fish ?

I look forward to your feedback. Have a nice day !

Cheers,
Sky
