Should i get 2ft. 8 bulb of 4 bulb
I have a aquapod 24 gallon tank. Should i get a fixture with the 2ft 4 bulb or 2ft 8 bulb. I found a New Wave 28 T5 High Output Fixture 2ft - 8 x 24w lamps for $179 with free shipping. Bulbs only no moon lights, and it can only be hung unless I DIY something to mount on tank.
I will be keeping mostly sps corals from the acropora family. And a couple of LPS will be on the bottom of the tank. |

8 bulbs seems like overkill on such a small tank but that us just me. Corals reach a saturation point and after that no amount of light is going help it could possible hurt. Just my opinion but stick with the 4 bulb...

I think you should go with the 8 bulb.......you can always raise the light. I have a 150mh over a 10 gallon and many people would say that's too much, but many people are doing the same thing or more. HTH
