Red Sea Max 250, 65 Gallon

I was hoping to hear from someone who owns the new red sea max 250, 65 gallon tank. I have been running a red sea 34g for close to 2 years and i am very happy with it and i am thinking about getting the new 65 gallon. I am having a hard time finding first hand feedback. How do you like it? what dont you like about it? can you replace the bulbs with any T5 bulb? any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks

I watched the video, looks pretty cool! I know that doesn't help, but I was impressed.

I think those all-in-one tanks are kind of cool if you have limited space or something like that, but i'd rather have a tank set up the way i want, and not how a manufacturer thinks it should be. They only give you limited filtration options.

as someone who runs a LFS, if that is anything like there 34 gallon, i say stay away. The 34g is an AWFUL product.

awful?... in what way exactly?..

It's a nice all-in-one solution, and if u get a good price on it, it's defiantly worth it.

What issues were you seeing with the Red Sea Max 130? IMO its one of the better all in one setups. They are the top selling nano tank at our store. I also run one and love it.

If you check out "NightFox" in the search engine on RC you should find a really good review of one of the first to be set up. There's also a 3 part magazine review being carried out by a UK LFS who writes in Marine World Mag. It's due shortly. reefsanctuary.com has some good posts also in the "Max owners club" section
