Oceanus Systems ATO float valve not working!

I have an Oceanus Systems Auto Top off, the poseidon.

First: does anyone know if they are still around? No more web site, no response from emails.

Second, more importantly, the middle float switch is not working properly. When the water level is too low, the float switch opens the solenoid, but then does not close it when the water level rises above it.

Can I replace the float with any old float switch? Is it as simple as splicing in a new switch?

Thanks in advance. . .

Rob
