clown trigger vs niger trigger

I currently have a niger triggerfish who is always moving around rocks and kicking up substrate. He's a healthy great fish but i just get bummed out a lot because his tank is usually cloudy to some degree. Would a clown trigger behave in the same way? I feel like it would act differently because of the difference in shape.

different fish of the same species behave differently. I have had both and neither of them did that. The clown was very cool. I named him El Diablo...The evil one. If you ever want coral, dont get the clown.

Every trigger I have owned has acted the same way. They have great personalities... just can be a major PITA if you like your tank neat.

I have a niger trigger, and he just loves to dig into the front right corner of my tank, through the 6 inch sandbed, all the way down to the glass. I think it's kinda funny watching him, and I'll just fill in his hole now and then and watch him do it all over again. All triggers are going to be like this, (for the most part) although if you want to keep small fish and shrimp in your tank, the niger is probably your best bet, since they are one of the more docile triggers, and the clown triggers have a reputation for being unpredictable as far as eating their tankmates.
