Vote for March Thread of the Month!

Each month all Reef Central members are presented with a poll (or link to a poll) in the Reef Discussion forum to vote on. There will be three threads to choose from, and you are only allowed to vote once. This month we are featuring three threads from three different forums. We encourage you to follow the links provided below, to read and enjoy these threads. All three are full of information and are each equally worthy.

The winning thread will not only be made as a sticky thread in its forum of origin, but it will also be listed in the next issue of Reefkeeping

To those whose threads are listed this month and all who participated in them, we would like to give our thanks and appreciation!

This months nominations are:

Lets see your BIG colonies!

almost 35 year old reef pictures (part 1) almost 35 year old reef pictures (part 2)

do we over-acclimate?

Jterrel, It is easy not to be a reef snob if you realize that your tank (and mine) will never be the best looking tank in the world, no matter what we do. It doesen't have to be, it just has to be the tank that makes you happy.

I just noticed this thread and diden't even know anything about it.
I can't believe there are still people reading this thread since 2005.
Now I am embarassed my reef doesen't look like some of the other tanks.
OMG, I need more corals, more fish, More rock, more interesting anicdotes, Paris Hilton. No wait, not Paris Hilton.
I better start becomming more of a snob.

Actually FAMMA contacted me just yesterday and are going to do an article about it. Of course I have to write it.
I write just like Hemmingway so it should not be much of a problem.
My daughter is an editor and can make even Paris Hilton sound intelligent.

OK now I am sounding like a snob. Don't read the article in FAMMA.
Get a copy of Readers Digest instead.

I am voting for that acclimatization thread.

Sorry about that Paul (and other nominees), I usually announce that a thread has been nominated with a link to this poll. I have been busy this month trying to keep employees working and have slacked off here on RC

Hey Paul, I have a feeling the magazine is FAMA. If they find out you are pointing people to another mag, they may not run your story.

There was a typo there, I meant Paul has HELPED me not be a reef snob!
Great thread and nice looking tank but do you think Paris Hilton would live long in your tank? I'm not sure she is reef safe myself.

Melev. OK it's FAMA, "FAMMA" magazine is a figment of my imagination.

Whatever it is, thats where the article is supposed to be published.

Thank you for pointing out my wonderful typing skills.

I am used to typing on a manual typewriter.

If you knew me better, you would have realized that my post was merely a creative way to bump this thread so more people would vote.
