ALK test the same as PH?

hey guys, this is probably stupid to ask, but is the ALK test the same as a PH test??

alk is a measurement "generally" of carbonate and borates(only 4 %) in your system.
It should be maintained at a level of 8-11 dkH

pH is a meaurement "non techncially" of the level of carbon dioxide in your system
It should read around 8.2
