Frag introduction?

When I have acclimated and introduced a new frag (of any kind) I usually place it in the tank where I think it is best suited and wait. A few days (or sometimes weeks) I move it if I think it is going to do better in a new spot based on the corals behavior or the behavior of its tank mates.

Now here is my question. I am ready to "plant" the frag in its new home and make it a more permanent member. What are the best methods to accomplish this?

WHat kind of frag is it? Some use super glue to glue it right to the spot where they want it. You can use a rubber band to hold it in place and let it attatch naturally. Sometimes you can drill a small hole and place the frag in side. All depends what kind of coral it is.

Soft tissued corals adhere on their own with a little help. It is the small plugs/ rubble pieces etc. that I am wondering about. Can super glue be used under water? I thought the surface had to be dry.

I would use reef-safe epoxy... its a great way to affix the frag plugs to a crevice in your LR.
