Filling up water for 1st time,170g

Hello,
Comming from a nano 12g, I used to just fill it up with ro/di water which was fast and easy. Im about to set up a 170g FOWLR. So my question is , due to the size and amount of water, do I need to fill it up with RO water or can I just use tap water? 170 is ALOT of waste water for RO's.
What do you guys usually do for big tanks?

Why start the tank off wrong? Put the ro line in the tank & let it rock. Water quality doesn't change with tank size.

HELL NO TO TAP WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT EVER USE IT, unless you run it through an ro/di unit.

If you have an old style washer machine you can use some of the waste water to wash clothes. You can water plants, fill pool, jacuzzi, wash your car. You dont have to waste all the water comming out of the RO if you dont want. I deff agree do not use tap water, even if you do ahev to waste the water its worth it.

You can order some water from some LFS stores and they will deliver it to you. Probably your best (maybe not cheapest) option.
