So, here's the "dilemma". After doing a tank renovation, or "makeover" if you will, i began noticing about 5-6 of these strange creatures. they only REALLY expand at night, so i cannot manage a picture, but i can give you a detailed description:
- a pink-brown colored base - when expanded, resembles an anemone - see-through(completely) tentacles - at the ends of the tentacles are bright white beads that are very orb like - small in size(not even a dime) - looks like an anemone(just saying it again for emphasis) the problem is that i can't find a description or picture anywhere since i don't know what i'm looking for! ![]() if anyone has ever seen anything like these, or has anything suggestions, PLEASE chime in!

Thank you for the reply
![]() unfortunately, I don't think it is, cause the thing in my tank has no skeleton of any kind, and no pigmentation other than the base it retracts into(which looks soft and squishy.

If you touch the base I believe you will feel the small cup , the ones I have experience with I could not see the cup only feel it and you described it perfectly.

I believe Markus is correct. Likely not Pseudocorynactis here since they tent to be considerably larger than Corynactis. The one pictured is about 1/2".
