AquaScaping
Well, my tank is off on its journey. I really like the Bonsia inspired tank of crazy4acros. Pics at this thread, but as it has turned out doesnt look anything like that. I dont think you can do a bad aquascaping job to start with, LOL but Ive tried to incorporate some Fiji Tukani Branch LR and Regular Fiji LR both. Tried to keep the sand as open as possible and provide nice views from each side as well as the front. My tank is only 45 inches from floor to the top of the tank so you peer down into it a bit standing in front of it. In person there is a bit more depth look than shows in the pics I think. It's seeded with several small frags now and just needs time really. Although, Im sure I'll add more.
I plan to put SPS on all the leftside Branch LR nodes. The front Branch LR is seeded with zoas and will be my Zoa Tower eventually. The rear Middle Reg Fiji will be LPS varieties. Hyrdo backed into the right corner since its a bit aggressive. Two plating monti frags below it. The tank was started Mar 1st with items from a 6 gal Micro Reef which had just completed initial cycle. I left the old dead coraline algae on the back wall thinking the calcium deposits might lend to faster maturation of that wall. So Ive come to the stage where I want to ask for everyone to rate the creativity of my aquascaping.

Sadly, the first thing that stands out is the scopas tang. While it looks to be a small specimen, your tanks is in no way suited to such a fish. To answer the question, the rock work looks good, but please find the tang a new home now.

as far as creativity... 3 out of 10....only because you have about 4 peices... if it were a bunch a peices and looked amazing, then id grade higher. But anyone could make that aquascape...
Looks good though, just not really creative... sorry

I like it, although it does not look like you have many flat spaces for future corals. You may wish you had more in a few months.

if you really want to keep the scopas and you have the money then buy a bigger tank. but if youre not too attached to it then i would say trade it at your LFS for some more Liverock.
General Question: is LR rubble better to aquascape with in a Nano? just askin

I think it's all a matter of personal taste. I had a 20gal NANO set up for about 2 or 3 years, and i just took my time and picked pieces i liked. You really can't ask people to judge your own aquascaping because everyone has thier own opinions of what looks good, and it also somewhat depends on what your keeping in your tank. Some fish and corals do better if provided with caves, and some like the super intense lighting. I personally think it looks pretty good. Kind of simple, and that piece of branch rock will provide good nooks and crannies to set frags on. Here's a pic of my old nano
Front shot Right side angel view I think nano's can look even better than a massive tank sometimes.
