Input on some Heat..
Hello I am in the process of building a new tank and have never had acrylic and have heard you need less watts to heat since is holds heat better then glass as a insulator, So I would like to here what you think is ideal heat for a 200g acryilc tank I will be using a two heaters and a temp controler. Also any good brands better than others... Thanks looking forward to your help.

I wouldn't expect much of a heating difference. Go with the standard 2 to 4 watts per gallon, depending upon how cold your house gets. 600 watts seems about right for your tank, so two 300 watt heaters should be fine. I like the titanium heaters, less chance of breakage, no brand preference.
