HOB skimmer choices
I was just wondering what brand I should go with for a skimmer.....I am currently sumpless so it makes it a little more difficult...I was thinking a reef octopus...any suggestions?
I want to have mainly sps and some lps. I would spend around 200$ for the skimmer. Also with the stand that I have the skimmer would be dangling from the tank so I want to make sure that would be ok.. |

I was about to suggest the one I have, the Octopus HOB 800S, then realized that you only have a 20g... I have a feeling that youll find one for WAY cheaper than $200 for a skimmer on such a small tank..

which octopus skimmer would be good for me? The 800S looks to be quite some overkill....
