I'm interested too. The price is too good to be true. I wouldn't expect much from the ballast, but times change.

The odyssea flourescent ballasts are fine. It's the MH ones that are junk. The unit I bought 3 years ago was OK, but did not have individual reflectors. I'd love to see a review of this new fixture.

t5
Well I got mine going today but changed the stock bulbs out. Although this is my first t5 unit, and I am using it along with 3 250w metal halides I am amazed at how brite it is and think it works well.

I bought a 2 bulb setup made by them and I was happy with it. I mean its nothing super spectacular and I am using it to bring shows but if you are on a budget and need something I would recommend these units. the only thing that i was not a fan of is the way the legs go on to clip to the rim around the tank was kinda a pain to get that setup and fit right.

HI fishfanashley,
I read that the odyssea T5 24" bulb size is not standard? I know you changed the bulbs, so can you comment on this. Thanks. |
