cloudy water & new tank smell!!!!
The tank has been up for approx 4 years. 12 gallon nano cube with the jbj clip on metal halide. I killed a percula clown moving rocks and added a maroon gold stripe clown to replace him. Also added an ivory gorgonia. Today the tank is cloudy and has a new tank smell. Tank has been fine with a brain coral and a few polyps.
I've done a water change, tests will be done soon. Any suggestions or recommendations or ideas on what could have caused this and how to solve it? |

When in doubt running fresh carbon is always a good idea.

could well be a bacterial bloom, if so , then water changes and as above carbon is a good idea, can help if its particulate matter in the water stream
