harlequin shrimp and brittle stars

I know that harlequins flip over there food to feed on them, but how do they do this with a brittle star. Those things wip around like mad, so can the harlequins actually prey on them? same question with basket stars and feather stars. I am wanting to get one or two so they can take care of my asternias but i would like to know if they can or will eat my brittles or if i get another basket or feather star with they fall prey to them?

Not sure about the basket or feather but they won't bother the brittle. I have a pair of harlequins in my 110 and they got rid of the asterinas in a about 1 1/2 months, so be prepared to start feeding them very soon. My brittle star will actually come and try to take a chocalate chip starfish away from the harlequins, but they never even attempt to capture/eat the brittle.
