New MP40 question

Heys guys/gals/EcoTech

First let me say I like this pump, have since I first read about it.
I am very glad to own one and cant wait to get another one. The flow is actually blowing some of my rock work down. I have a couple of questions:

Is some noise expected?
The specs state operating temp 50-60 degrees, It feels warmer than that. Is this OK?

Thanks
Manny

Hi Manny,

Some noise is normal, it is after all, an external motor. The temperature of 50-60deg is in Celcius. This correlates to 120 to 140 max at the heat sink. This will not damage the motor as it is equipped with thermal protection should the temperature raise higher.

Thanks for the reply, nothing left to do but love it and figure out how to justify getting another one to the ol' lady.

Thanks again for the response and a great pump
Manny
