Dosing Trace Elements through top-off

I've just started dosing the improved 2 part via litermeter pumps, and I love it! It keeps the tank very stable and eliminates the need of daily dosing on my part.

I have an ATO that I have been using for Kalkwasser (I have stopped mainly to see how the 2 part does); I was wondering if I could use the ATO to dose the Mg part or TM K+ and A- elements. Can I mix the K+ and A- in a 20g resevoir? Can I mix all three...etc?

Would I just be better off dosing them manually in case the ATO fails? Thanks!

None of those should be mixed with limewater or at least one of the components will precipitate from solution. These problem ions include magnesium, calcium, copper, iron, vanadium, carbonate, and bicarbonate.

I'm also not convinced that either K+ or A- is a desirable thing to use, but that's a different question.
