Whats wrong with my tang?
He doesnt seem very active since I got him a week ago. He was very active at the LFS. I don't know what to do, please help! My params are:
salinity: 1.024 Temp: 78 Amonia: 0 Phos: 0 PH: 8.4 Nitrite:0 Nitrate:0 My 5 gallon tank has been up for 1 1/2 weeks and has a HOB filter, no skimmer yet. It also has a Koralia nano for flow. Any advice? I'll try to get a pic! |

Tangs need to be kept in groups of at least 6 of the same species in order to do well in a large tank like 5 gallons.

The amount of fish to make up a Tang School is dependent on the species. Are they Percula Tangs or Leopard Tangs?

In my experiences, Red Sea Sailfins prefer Kosher salt...not sure if that's the case here.
