midas blenny scratching itself, help please!

i've had my midas blenny for almost two months now. it was qt for the first month and there was no sign of ich or anything, except towards the end of the qt i noticed her hanging at the top of the tank and occasionally attempting to jump (there's a lid), thinking she might have flukes i did an 8min freshwater dip and noticed nothing fall off. she's been in my display for about another month now and she still tends to hang out at the top of the tank, i posted about it and was told not to worry if everything else seemed fine. i recently noticed her scratching what looks like her gills against the rocks and occasionally biting her tail? i think that's what she's doing. she eats voraciously and physically looks very healthy. what could be wrong? could it be the freshwater dip didn't work and she still has flukes? should i do another dip just in case? i also have prazipro that i could dose the tank with. she's in the tank with a bicolor wrasse, and a pair of black and white clowns. all have been qt and have been healthy and disease free from day one and they've been in the tank longer than the midas. thanks so much!

It is still doing that? I think you had a post on this not so long ago. Maybe it is something mental and not physical, like a nervous tick of some sort, like parrots that pick their own feathers. Maybe you could try a skunk cleaner shrimp, it should pick off anything that maybe causing it.

Do you have a grounding probe?
Maybe you have stray voltage in the tank and that is causing the fish to go crazy.

Good Luck

i don't have a grounding probe, but wouldn't i get shocked from time to time if there was stray voltage? i have plenty of cleaner shrimp in the tank but they're lazy. i did post something similar before and that was another midas blenny that unfortunately died. now i see this one acting similar and that's why i'm worried, i don't want to lose this one too. thanks so much for responding
