Acropora polyps only coming out at night?

Hi,

I have a blue Acropora of the brandhing type (not sure if there are others also..), it seems ok but during the day some of the plyps do not come out, all the one round the base and lower parts of branches do but the ones in more direct light and whre the color is at it's most blue only come out after alights out, so basically the tops of all the braches, the last half inch or so only come out during the night, almost as if the light gets irritates them...is this normal?

I have a tri color acro in my tank and it does the same thing. It mostly keeps to itself when lights are on, and the polyps come out at night. It appears to be growing still, so I don't worry about it
