will mp40 break seals of 75AGA

break seal ? you mean the silicone b/t the joins ? I don't think vortech is that strong.....

The wave action created when using short pulse mode to generate a resonant wave can weaken aquariums over long periods of time, but in general I would say this is not something that you should worry about when setting up a new tank, particularly a quality build one like AGA.
