Add MH to PC. Go with 10k MH and use Actinics in the PC.

With a 75 I would go with two MH --- assuming yours is a standard 75, the center brace will give shadows, and the corners will be dark with just one.

Do you know what you will want to keep in the tank? (( corals and/or inverts ))

And personally I would go with 250s, mainly for the larger selection in bulbs.

You get the halide high enough you can go with one. Halide 10k, and the pcs full actinic. But as stated above, you may have shadows without using 2 halides.

Don't remove the brace. 2 175w halides would work just 8" off the water, you could go higher, your choice, but that would work for ya. And it would cover nicely.

I use 175w halides over my 90 and I have a monti and poci growing on the sand. It's too much for my lps, and my softies don't care either way. I say 250 for the bulb choices, but if you want to do mainly softies or lps, go 175.
