supreme mag pump 1600

i have a 265 reef and a using a supreme mag pump 1600 to return water from my sump. Its 6 yrs old i have replaced the impeller 1.5 yrs ago. ( after the power was off it wouldnt restart. i had to move the imeller with something to unstick the impeller.) Now its doing it again and the pump is humming loud. Does this mean i should replace the impeller again or the whole pump? and if i replace the pump whats the best insump pump out there?
