Question Fish wont eat my Nori?!

Ok... so maybe someone can help me out with this issue. I've been in this hobby for over three years now and I've never had this issue before.

I've got a pygmy angel, a bicolor blenny and two clowns (false percs), and none of them will go near the nori that I put in the tank... none. Before I moved (and subsequently lost all my fish), the other fish used to go nuts for the stuff. What gives? Is there anyway to get them to go for it? I'm afraid that if the blenny doesnt find it soon he's gonna starve to death as he wont eat anything else I put in the tank.

I've tried soaking it in Garlic... soaking it with mysis... still nothing...

Ideas?... please?

Do you offer it on a clip or attached to a rock? Sometimes a different presentation will help. If you want to try to spur them into eating, try some frozen, then thawed brocolli, zuchini, or banana. I had a wrasse that loved the bananas.

I use a pole feeder like the one in this blog--it works great

Hmmm... hadnt thought about the presentation. Currently I put it on a clip along the side of the tank... I'll try switching that up... I definitely have some pvc lying around.

and bananas really?! that'd be pretty interesting

capn, do you just use a rubber band to attach the nori to the pvc?
