Reeflo Hammerhead vs Hammerhead Gold

I am considering upgrading my Reeflo Hammerhead (350 watts/5800 gph) to a Hammerhead Gold (297 watts/5555 gph) for my closed loop.
Other then the decreased power draw, are there any advantages such as lower noise level? I googled it and cant find anything especially at Reeflo's website. Anybody know or have used both pumps?
Thanks in advance.

If you can, go with 2 super dart golds. They pull less juice, push more water and are alot less noisy. More expensive up front though and alot of plumbing.

I didnt even know that they came out with a Super model of the Dart Gold. I should just go with one of those maybe. Too bad they dont make a Super Hammerhead Gold.

They are great. I think it's a dart gold with a different impeller. I have 2 for my 215 on closed loops. They are much quieter then hammerheads, 165-175 watts and 4300gph.

I think I could afford a slight drop in flow to gain much less power usage and lower noise levels by getting the Dart Super Gold. Thanks for the tip Dean.
