Some recommendations for 300 gallon
I am buying a Marineland Deep Dimension 300 gallon tank. The tank measures 72x36x27.
I want to keep a mixed reef. I am going to use T5s wired on Icecap 660s as supplement lighting, but should I go with 3x250 MH? Or 3x400? Just not sure because the tank is 36" wide, and 27" tall. Also, the guy selling it is also selling a 1/3 HP Prime Drop-in Chiller. Anyone have any experience with these chillers? Are they known to be pretty decent? Thanks |

I use 3x250 on my Marineland 300 with SPS.
Check my thread.

Very nice indeed. So I take it you have been pretty happy with the 250s? I saw those reflectors that you made, how big are they? Do they compare to any manufactured reflector size wise? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to make them?
