Question on CPR BakPak2R
Im getting a sweet deal on a CPR BakPak2R the reef version The thing is I need a non reef version. Could I still us some bio filter with it and get away with this unit on my Fish and liverock 30 gallon?

If you have live rock you don't need the biofilter. With live rock already in your tank, the reef version will be perfect for you.

agreed. put some cheato in it and you will be good to go. The reef version is practically the same thing. you can put bio-bale media in there if you want, but you don't need it. the way the baffles are arrange are supposed to eliminate micro bubbles from entering the aquarium.

when I had mine, I removed the media and stuck my heater in there.
