salanity and math experts please chime in

I used to have the formula on my old fried computer

What is the formula to figure the change of salanity if you change /add new wattter

example
adding X gallons of fresh to X gallons of salt water would change the salinity x# of points

Thanks for any info

i used to have the math matical formula for that but when you store stuff on the darn computer and the computer fries what good is the back up files unless they are written down on paper.
