tds readings
why do I get a tds reading of around 300 when I check the water directly in my 30 gal nalgene container (just cleaned and refilled with fresh ro water) but when I draw a sample from the spout at the bottom of the tank into a cup and test this it reads 2 tds. (the same as it reads directly from the ro unit) When I take the cup and scoop water from the surface of the the tank where I just had a reading of around 300 and test this it reads around 50tds. I'm really confused. i've been using this tank for around 5 years for top off and in the past few months have started to get excess nutrient problems in my tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
