Anyone running a pondmaster 1200 on thier tank?

I picked up a danner 1200 for $130. I have not hooked it up yet but wondering if that was the best bang for the buck new? Does anyone know if they sound like a 747 on take off?

I used one for the return on my 125g. It worked well. Just fill a small bag up of sand and sit the pump on it. This will cut down on the vibrations.

Current Tank Info: 5 pieces of glass with some silicone and plastic frames holding them together
