Question live rock in sump??

i have a 210 gallon tank with roughly 200 ilbs of rock. i want to add a little more tho.can i put some in my sump to cure????

you want to add more rock to the system? just add it to your display tank. Are you afraid of a cycle? bc if you are, it won't matter if it's in the sump or DT

If it's uncured do not add it to your tank/sump/refugium until it's cured.

how long does it take to cure? how do i know when its cured?

EDIT: Do you have any livestock in your tank? have you cycled your tank yet? if no, then you may add it to your tank however it will take 6-8 weeks to cure uncured rock. So I would cycle your tank without uncured rock and throw the uncured in a vat with heat and flow and cure it that way.

When it is cured there are two signs:
1: it stops stinking
2: the ammonia level stays down

ya i have livestock in there . so cure it in a diffrent tank right?

Yes cure it out in a different tank. Or depending on how patient you are you could add one rock a month and do it that way too.
