Broke brand new hydor nano - is there a replacement part?
We bought another nano to replace the failing maxijet in our 15G. We have two powerheads with the other being a nano which is still working great.
Putting it together the purple stem that holds the pump to the magnet right where it attaches to the band/pump snapped. Because of where it snapped crazy glue isn't going to fix it, it would be an accident waiting to happen. The LFS that I bought it at still hasn't called back and its been five days. They were looking to see if they could get a part to fix it. I can't find anything online for parts. I don't know the terminology for these hydor nano parts. Do you guys know if it can be fixed? If so where would I look for parts? I've tried our common online stores and even ebay. I've just been looking up Hydor Nano Parts with little luck. I'd really appreciate any advice you guys have. I did the same thing within five minutes of pulling it from the box. I just used massive amounts of glue to "repair" it. This is a poorly designed pump in that aspect. Keep us posted on what they do to correct the situation.
