Dead Spots
I have some algae growing and I am running very high flow in my 65, but it is only in one spot. I have one Hydor Koralia 4 pump. It works great but only creates one stream of flow. There are a few dead spots that I want to add flow to. I want a Hydor Koralia that I can put on the back glass which is strong enough the bounce of the walls to hit the right spot, but not enough that things will start blowing all over. Should I go with the 1,2, or 3?

I'd get another K4. I have a 54gal with a K3, K1, and mini-jet, but i'm adding a modded K4 and modding the K3 so i'll have somewhere between 4000 and 5000gph. It will blow some of my stuff around, but will eliminate dead spots for sure. You can always get a couple small powerheads to just direct flow to the dead spots if you don't want your entire tank being blown around

you should have a flow of between 1300 and 2600 gph for the 65g
Go with the two k4's giving you 2400 gph. You can mount them low in the tank and direct them up. This will give you a suction flow created by the intakes and the normal forcefull flow directed upwards without creating a sand storm
