What he said ............

I have a pair of false black percula/ black and white ocellaris in a ten gallon. The female is aggressive to the male and attacks me with no mercy if I dare stick my hand in her tank.

They are after all damselfish. If you mean not aggressive toward each other and you want a pair; get two smaller juveniles. They'll figure out who the boss is and that one will become a female. The other the male and they'll live happily ever after.

I have 3 pairs in separate tanks with other fish. They protect their anemone or cave or hosted coral and the area around it . They will snap at other fish even those much larger than themselves if they venture too close. The attacks are usually just a dart out and bite and retreat affair without pursuit. This aggression is particularly evident when they have a patch of eggs to protect. Mine bite my hand during maintenance. The tomato clown can has drawn blood ; it's a strong bite.

The term "False Percula" is quite misleading. Should always be referred to as A. occellaris. Orange and white occellaris and black and white occellaris are the same species. The 2 fish your original question asks about are different names for the same species of fish. There is no such thing as a black and white A. percula, false or not. They're A. occellaris.
