Help with ID
Please forgive the new person if I posted in the wrong place! This thing grew out of my live rock (looks like a tiny purple kenya tree), it does not have any feathery like things at the end like a feather duster. I can not get my pic small enough so I am posting a link to a photobucket page. I'm sorry the pic is kinda blurry I zoomed in and it is in the back middle of my tank hard to get to place! I need to know if it's harmful! Thanks!

It's awfully hard to tell from that pic, but it sorta looks like Xenia.

zoas maybe? You're going to have to get a better pic for a better id.

I think barbra has it right. The pic looks like it has one stump, so that rules out zoas.

Thanks for trying everyone! It has one main "trunk" and several branches off of that. I do apologize about the picture quality, but in order to see it through the camera I have to zoom in which is blurring the pic. Man is this frustrating. It can be seen by the naked eye, but when I take a picture without zooming in you can't see it it blends in. I can't remove the rock which is in the middle back of my tank because it sits under several others including the top rock that holds my anemone.

type in a few things on google and let us know what it looks similar to.
1. Xenia 2. Anthelia 3. Palys 4. Zoas etc.
