Talking Some pics of my new water change container.

I love it.
Holds 220 gallons of NSW!

I built this piece out of scrap wood to help prevent it from sliding around in the truck bed.

I change between 100-150 when I do a change.

But I am upgrading my sump from a 125 to a 180, so I plan to do 180 gallon changes at a time.

Where did you get that tank from and what did it cost you? Has it had anything in it before?

That's pretty sweet! I could use one of those in the back of my truck for work.

I see you say NSW. How are you pumping it from the sea to the container? Where are you getting the water where its pristine enough to use?

I get it from the UNCW (University of North Carolina Wilmington) Aquaculture Facility on Harbor Island.

It goes through numerous filters, including sand and UV.

I have been using it for about 6 years now I guess.

No mixing.
I use NSW (Natural Sea Water)

Yeah, I got that after I posted, I guess I was thinking of my application too much.

It would be great for me though because I'm not really close enough to the ocean....or maybe I am!? Maybe I should take an hour drive and see if I can get filtered NSW from the Vancouver Aquarium? Although I would use that in one week....definitely something to ponder.
