adding more fish to hyp, is that okay?
First, I am gonna say this can go either way. To play it safe one would not want to do this, but, then again, what do I know, it could be perfectly fine so I ask.
If I have fish in hypo at 1.09 for say two weeks, then, buy a new fish, bring the new fishes salinity down over a few days to 1.09, can I take the new fish out and put him/her in with the other 2 week old fish? Of course, this is as long as no meds are applied. |

Yes, you can, but you will basically be starting your quarantine period over as soon as you introduce the new fish.

One would think, but my theory is that at 1.09, anything living, trying to get to another fish would die. If there was any of the things that fall off to the bottom, then they would not pose a problem. Then, on top of that, when they DO hatch, poof, there gone.
Like i said, I could be right, I could be wrong and maybe it just is not a chance worth taking. Either way, i would like to hear from the masses. Do appreciate the reply |
