Coralife PureFlo II RO filter tube mislabeled?

I just received a 50GPD pumpless version of one of these of drfostersmith.com
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...m?pcatid=12093

I just set it up, followed the instructions and turned the water hose on and the blue tube, the product line, is discharging so fast it filled a 4-gal bucket in 30 seconds while the red 'waste' line barely filled a party cup in that time. Are my tubes swapped?

The blue line is coming out the end of the membrane housing, while the red tub comes kind of out of the side.

I tried calling their support, which the card said is open until 4PM pacific (it's 3 now) and it was the wrong number. The new number they gave me was down for the night. Any help I could get would be great as this is not exactly the best way to start my SW experience.

i have the 24gpd. if looking straight at end where both lines connect
red line connects to right side & red to left. if you have instruction manual it shows a picture of how lines go in the flushing membrane section. if my smaller unit is set up like yours. i would think they are same, just with diff membranes & flow restrictors, but not sure. hope this helps

I did some digging in the housing. It turns out there was a piece of styrofoam lodged in the little hole where the housing joins the membrane that was keeping it from sealing.
