Vinegar bath for new skimmers

Should you use full strength vinegar or 50 percent H2o and vinegar for new Vertex skimmers

Just wash it out make sure there is no packing stuff stuck in chamber put in sump let er rip.Don't see a need for vinegar bath.Put my vertex directily in sump had skimate the next day.

You could put some skimmate in it to help it along.
