Aiptasia Popping up after tank move

Upgraded my tank a week ago.
Obviously I redid all my aquascaping, etc. Now I suddenly have aiptasia popping up all over. I'm killing about 3 of these a day. Never saw them to this degree before.

What the heck happened?

you probably had them already and when you moved them around they got stressed and maybe reproduced? or what started floating in the water column was enough for them to eat and slowly started reproducing?

Are peppermint shrimp the only livestock that will eat these things?
My Sixline killed one of those within days.
