rotten hawkfish

well i feel i have to vent after the second worse reef experience i've had thus far ... let me start at the beginning, my 40gal breeder i started back around november 08. i filled with about 45 lbs lr and 2 tomatoe clowns and a wheelers goby ,well after sometime i got a pistol shrimp and a bta. then i thought i need 1 more fish ,corals were perfect lr was perfect goby and pistol shrimp were happy tomatoes were playing one more fish . well one day a spotted hawkfish caught my eye, chasing me from one end of his tank to the other i thought perfect just what my playful tank needs...moving on now to the problem my 40 sprung a leak so i up graded to a 65 gal the night i swapped everything was the night i learned just how much of a pain this little guy was ...not to mention the three gobies and lawnmower blenny this guy killed only to latter find out there not to fond of gobies any wayeveryone in the tank went happily to there new how except hudson (the hawkfish ) hours of chasing him around the tank i finally gave up to eat dinner only to trap him in a rock and voila transfer complete well skip forward to say a month ago my big 65 is now somewhat barren so of to the lfs i go i get a coral beauty (in hopes of thinning my looming ha problem well the hawkfish is relentless in his attacks the poor thing is tattered and torn (still not fully healed ) then the flatworms so i get a 6 line he chases it out of the tank in mere hours well yesterday i got a rabbit fish again to help the hair problem (not much of a problem but hey ) well again the relentless attack begins so today i decide the hawk must go ....well lets see 7 30 now i decided this at noon and finally hes in with the eel my tank is completely rescaped and almost worm free and not to mention i dropped my acro and who knows where the pistol shrimp is or how many crabs are burried but he is gone ....so the moral of this story is i wish i took up some other costly addiction
