I have a question on acclimation
I will be getting my reef package from saltwaterfish.com here is the list of what I am getting:
Products belonging to this package Quantity Scarlet Hermit Crab: 20 Blueleg Hermit Crab: 20 Turbo/Astrea Snail: 25 Peppermint Shrimp: 5 Emerald Crab: 5 Coral Banded Shrimp: 1 Cleaner Clam : 2 Can I just put them all in one box and start a drip? Or should I do one for the crabs and one for the snails and is it ok to put the Coral Banded Shrimp with the Peppermint Shrimp? |

If it were me, I would probably acclimate according to type of livestock (snails together, crabs together, etc.) I can't really justify that, but that's what I would do.
What size tank will these critters be going in? Coral banded shrimp are pretty aggressive and may terrorize those peppermints in a smaller tank.

I would go with 6 bags:
1: All the snails and the Cleaner Clam 2: Scarlet Hermit Crab 3: Blueleg Hermit Crab. The Scarlets and Blues would probably be okay together, but why chance it, in tight quarters they may fight. 4: Peppermint Shrimp 5: Coral Banded Shrimp. The CBS may nip at your PS if put together. 6: Emerald Crab |

Maybe they all came from one holding tank at saltwaterfish.com, maybe they didn't. I would acclimate them individually.

Before I group ANY of them I would call saltwaterfish.com and confirm they all came from the same system. Otherwise I'd do them all individually by how they were shipped...atleast at first.
IMO critters are the hardest to acclimate because of their sensitivity to salinity and temp changes.
