Which clown with chromis?

Hi gang I currently have my first fish in QT (blue-green chromis). I have already started to think which one I want next. I was thinking of a clown, are there any specific types you could recommend that would get along nicely with the chromis? I was also thinking of a Regal tang as well.

thanks

no personal experience with this

but from what i've read, any clown will work. Maroon Clown's are more agressive, however.

I would stay away from the Maroon, they get territorial when they mature. If this is for your 180g, they will just claim an area as their own and other fish will give them room, in the 55, it will be war.

I have two blue-green chromis and two ocellaris. The clowns chase the chromis occasionally, but I don't see serious bullying.

I have 3 blue-green chromis and two b/w occellaris. The clowns chase each other and go after the chromises every once and a while.

I would go with ocellaris clownfish. They are less aggresive in my opinion. tomato and marroon are very territorial and aggressive.

I don't like clownfish for a variety of reasons so I would not get any. However, if forced to choose, I would go with a pair of true percula or ocellaris. I would never get tomato or maroons.
