Grey VS Black Stock tanks used for a sump
Rubermaid Stock tanks
What is the Difference between the Black 100 gallon Stock tanks, and the Grey ones? I had a grey one for years and out of no where the bottom started leaking. So I was wondering if the Black ones are stronger?

Without photos I can't be certain, but I have both grey and black stock tanks and they look nothing alike. The blacks are round, semi-flexible, no drain plug and flat bottomed. The grey one is oval, rigid, has a drain (I don't use) has flat surfaces to make drilling bulkheads easy and has a cross-hatched bottom.
I've had 100g grey on in operation for over 5 years with no issues. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...7/IMG_4951.jpg I use my black ones for temporary storage. Are the ones you are referring to more similar in appearance?
