I really need help--Yellow Tang

I have 2 clowns, a Ting Blue Tang, and my Yellow Tang (3 inches) that has been with me and doing well for over a year in my tank.

Recently I added another tiny tang- not blue but like Grey with yellow on his fins---since then my Yellow guy has not been acting normal,

not so interested in eating, small patch on light brown on nose (not his body), swimming slower.

watch should I do again.

Have you seen any aggression from the yellow tang? They could be fighting....I have always had bad luck with yellow tangs being aggressive after they have been in the tank for some time. Maybe try to isolate the yellow in a QT tank and see if he improves.

Did you quarantine the new fish?

First off you should check water quality. Tangs are very picky about their water and more than likely your ammonia and or nitrates are up. Secondly, 3 tangs in a 55 gallon..unless your current tank is smaller...is really just too small. That alone will cause the fish a huge amount of stress and make him be uncomfortable. Plus tangs generally do NOT get along with one another except for in a HUGE tank. You may want to reconsider what you have in the tank and maybe sell/trade one in. Please read up on the minimum requirements for each fish and keep in mind that you have 3 tangs..hth..
