Coral attaching

I have some small frags of zoas that I want to attach to my live rock. The zoas are already attached to a small rock. Can I use a two part epoxy putty to attach them? The stuff I have is for fixing aluminum gas tanks and you knead it together to activate it. Is this bad to use?

If it is not aquarium safe then I would say do not use it for your frags. It most likely has a chemical in it that would be unsafe for your tank. You can get a two part putty, so to speak, for attaching rocks and corals at your local fish store. I have used super glue gel in the past with great success. Hope this helps.

I use aquamend from home depot for my two part epoxy - Cost is 3.97 per tube.

Yup, me too. Sometimes cheaper on ebay.
