Plastic Rod broke in Sedra Pump where to get replacement?

The plastic rod in my Sedra pump 5000 is broken, does anyone know where to get a replacement rod or a know a good substitute? I just don't think its justified to purchase another impeller assembly.

Most places that carry Sedra's have them. I've had to replace a couple of them on my sedra 9000's.
