has anyone used loc-tite silicone?

i was wondering if anyone has used loctite silicone before. its all i could find at my local menards store i tried to find the dow corning 795 or the 999a but they didnt carry it. just wondering if its a good silicone or not

Check for GE Window & Door #1. It's proven safe & very common. Be careful not to use #2 or bath as it has mold inhibitors which could be harmful.

that should work fine, but must agree with ROOK - GE type I for windows and doors will end up being much less expensive

I have used it, seems just as good as the DOW I've used in the past.

Current Tank Info: a gutter, now upgraded to a 100 gal foam and rock reef, 50 gal sump divided into 3 chambers, refugium in one, T-5 Lights, Sun Sun Wave Pump X's 2, 2 Mag 7.5 return pumps.

Look on the back of it, It is probably manufactured by Dow Corning.

all it says on the back is henkel corporation


thanks to all who replied, i'm just using it to reseal a 30 gallon i used as a hospital tank and a 20 i used as a sump for the hospital tank. so i dont need much, plus its all i could find at the time
