Good frag tank tank equipment?
Hello fellow reefers,
I have a 20g long frag tank w/ metal halide, in tank fuge, a maxi-jet 400 powerhead and box filter. I would like to know if i need anything else to help the coral grow faster/healthier. They look like they are doing fine. I do not have a skimmer and live sand but I do have a few small pieces of live rock. Would it be good to get a few fish? I heard that the 6-line wrasse helps with pests and bugs. I guess what im trying to say is do i need to upgrade or get anything or is my frag tank good as is. For my 3 gallon pico frag tank alls I have is a maxi-jet 900, 9watt CF light, and a heater. I think you should be fine but upgrade the flow if that box filter doesnt produce that much flow along with your maxi-jet 400
